Collection: Incense and Smudge

The ancient practices of burning incense and smudge sticks has been used for centuries.  These practices may also be used for relaxation, or to create a calm and peaceful atmosphere.

The practice of burning Incense is the burning of fragrant material typically made from aromatic plants. This may include herbs, wood, bark, leaves, resin, and essential oils. This burning smoke fills the air with a pleasant aroma that may be used to bring about a sense of peace.

The practice of burning bundles of plants that have been tied together and dried such as sage is known as Smudging. As the smudge stick is burned and smoke created, this smoke is wafted into the air, or around a person, and used to purify and cleanse away negative energy.
